Received Text - The Received Text, or Textus Receptus, was compiled in 1516 by Desiderius Erasmus from a few manuscripts that were accepted at the time as the only trustworthy and reliable manuscripts.

Later manuscript discoveries, (Majority Text), have confirmed the reliability of the Received Text.
